1. Background
The Association of Road Traffic Offices (asa) makes the official theory questions for the Swiss driving test available to the market under a licensing agreement. The asa does not publish a learning product itself; instead, licensed providers bring learning software, apps, books and other learning materials to market. The asa overview page lists all official providers – these form the basis of this comparison.
Important: licensees have at most around two-thirds of the current theory questions (officially approx. 66 %). asa updates are implemented in the learning products with a certain delay. According to the asa, anyone who understands the material rather than memorising it is well prepared regardless of the provider chosen.
